My last blog was all about how nervous I was about Lily not getting into the school we wanted. How I would have to turn in to full-on pscho mum to get her in there. Well, it doesnt matter as she got in!
The school she’s going to in September is perfect for her. On the open day, she just fitted in and was clearly relaxed and happy to be there. I think that’s important. Your child will be going there five days a week for the next seven years! It needs to be somewhere that makes them feel safe and comfortable.
We were lucky though. We know a few people who didn’t get their first choice or any of there preferred schools.
If you’d don’t get your first choice school then don’t panic, you can still appeal the decision if you really want to. Take a look at the school again and decide where you want to go from there.
If you did get the place you wanted, don’t forget to formally accept it! I know I’m Kent we have until Mayb14 but check your formal offer as your local area may differ.
